Fall Is Coming

There has been a shift in the weather. I can feel fall approaching. The other night I was trying to sleep and my dreams were about autumn. Falling leaves, pumpkins, Halloween. Everything was bursting with oranges, reds, and yellows. It would be an absolute understatement to say that I'm excited for fall. I'm patiently anxiously counting down the days until it arrives.

A Little Introduction

I'm Shawnna and this is my Halloween blog.

For as long as I can remember (which is pretty far back), I have always been a Halloween fanatic. Since I was a little girl, Halloween has always been the holiday I look forward to the most. Born in November (four days after Halloween), it has always been my favorite time of a year. I contribute my love for Halloween, autumn, and all things spooky to being a fall baby. It's as though I can feel the autumn season in my bones!

I recently tied the knot with my best friend, Jason (05/09/13). He doesn't appreciate Halloween quite as much as I do, but he humors me. He enjoys horror movies and fall treats, which is okay in my book. Jason is very handy and is amazing at anything home improvement related. He's also an amazing singer. I could listen to him croon all day long! Together we have a shih tzu named Oscar. He's our little fur child. Even though he's a small dog, he has a giant personality. Sometimes I swear he was a person in a past life because he acts more like a human than a dog.

I enjoy reading, writing, baking, decorating, Halloween, spooky/creepy/gorey things, old houses, photography, and antiques. Obviously there's lots more, but that would ruin the surprise.
